Chronic Paronychia
Chronic paronychia is an inflammatory disorder of the nail folds of a toe or finger presenting as redness, tenderness, and swelling
Chronic paronychia was considered a form of fungal infection affecting the nail folds with anti-fungals being the mainstay of treatment.
Surgical management like eponychial marsupialization and en bloc excision of nail fold was done in recalcitrant cases without nail plate removal.
